JUDGE MARKEY TO SPEAK JANUARY 17

We are extremely pleased to announce that Chief Judge Howard T. Markey of the Court of Customs and Patent Appeals will be our next speaker. The title of his talk will be "Lombardi's Law".

As you will recall, we distributed a list of possible speakers at our first dinner meeting. The first choice was Chief Judge Markey, and we are very pleased to report he has accepted our invitation to speak at our next dinner meeting, which will be on Thursday, January 17, 1980, again at the Cross Keys Inn in Columbia, Maryland. A cash bar cocktail hour will be from 6 to 7 p.m. with dinner at 7 p.m. in the Ellicott Room.

Many of us have heard Judge Markey before, and we all know that not only is he a great speaker, but he is also a great champion of the Patent System. We will all look forward to an interesting evening with this distinguished jurist. Your reservation form is attached as last page of the Newsletter.
